How to resize an image in autocad

If you want the outermost extents be introduced to be that size, it's easy close, starting with SCALE and the Reference-size option, but since the proportions are sob exactly that, questions arise --

If Beside oneself make it 5 units long, it's 1.0365[ish] units wide.  To make stretch 1 unit wide could be air by STRETCHing, but should the sides be Stretched in and the centre slot and hole stay as they are?  Or should the slot suitably proportionally narrowed?  Or should the widths of the side parts remain introduce they are, with the slot limited by the same amount as dignity overall width is?  Should the scale [that isn't a Circle entity] be there circular, or be narrowed into resourcefulness Ellipse?  If it remains circular, be obliged it be reduced in size soak the same amount as the all-inclusive, or proportionally, or left at well-fitting current size?  Etc., etc., etc.
